a vaudeville descent

'i dreamt that i was flying to chicago and that the captain announced: "we will now begin our descent into chicago. we will be making a vaudeville descent." and proceeded to zip down into downtown chicago, doing loops and dips around the buildings, to our oohs and aahs. it was strange.'
