the new gf and muslim women

i was back on nantucket with b and the new girlfriend k. she wasn't as friendly as i would've liked and she was a little younger than i would've liked, too. she was dressed somewhat stylishly, although i could not decide if i liked her belt. (it was leather and kind of woven. the real problem i had with it was that it was dark blue.)

b and k were rushing off to spend the night at k's house because her parents were away. i was annoyed at the sort of high-schoolishness they were displaying by sneaking around behind her parents backs. meanwhile i was trying to recycle a plastic container and there were like 6(!) recycle bins in the kitchen all for different types of recyclables. i was thinking how in seattle it's so nice that you just throw everything in the same bin (well, except glass, but i was only thinking plastics at the moment).

i was getting ready to head somewhere, too, and was imploring b to hang around until i was ready to go, but k beckoned.

so then i flew to the mainland and was in a car with three veiled muslim women. one of them knew for a fact there was a bomb on the southbound lane of i-5 (which in my dream must've been rt. 6 or something because we were on the cape). we headed southbound anyway, but then traffic was stopped. it seemed two cars ahead of us had hit the bomb and we just loitered around, worried, waiting for traffic to start moving again.
