snow snow snow!

i was driving my family (mom, sis, and auntie s) across a cascades pass--snoqualmie maybe? i don't know, but unlike the real-life state of things right now there were tons and tons of snow! i was skidding on the ice and driving us into snowbanks. everyone was scared and becoming increasingly wary of my driving abilities. it didn't help that the driver's seat had been removed from the car leaving me to sit on the floor. i couldn't even see over the dashboard half the time!

a kind driver who had traversed the pass before us left helpful signs on how to get through. for instance, at one point there was a sign posted on a tree that said 'TUNNEL'. a-ha! he had plowed a tunnel through the deep snow and we were supposed to drive through it. i was convinced it would cave in and bury us so i got out of the car, knocked down the tunnel, and drove over the snow instead.

it was a beautiful beautiful sunny day. white snow everywhere and bare trees.
