dream come true
i was trying to catch the #48 bus to get to work. i was walking between stops, an eye over my shoulder to see if it was approaching behind me. i came upon ac on the side of the road under I-5 on 65th street. she was standing by her new white car. we said hello, and she told me that she couldn't get her car to start and as a result she was going to be late to work. oh no! i tried to help. i got in and put my feet on the brake and the clutch which were weirdly right under my feet by the seat. i had to push straight down with my heels rather than forward with my toes. anyway, i could not get the car to start.
she was on her cell phone (she does not have a cell phone in real life) and was calling her husband j. i apologized that i couldn't help more, but i had to hop on the approaching bus and get to work. strangely, the bus then made some stops on nantucket where i saw old familiar faces on main street.
in real life i have not seen ac in weeks! this morning i got on the #48 bus at the stop under I-5 on 65th street. i heard my name being called and looked up--there was ac sitting towards the back of the bus! like a dream come true, only without the broken car and the cell phone.
also, on the bus, we were BOTH kind of late for work. prophetic dream, no?

I was in your dream?
I like your blog
well put.
That's always kind of eerie when you have dreams and then they come true. Remind me to tell you a story in person about that...it's a little too weird to post on a public site. See you soon!!
yikes! i can't wait!
