oh martinzie! i haven't seen him in years and last night i got to hang out with and talk to him for a long time in my dream. it was wonderful. he was doing great and things were going well for him and his wife erin. tinzie and i were sitting on a couch catching up on things. we remembered that the last time we were in touch was right after september 11. this is true--in real life we had both just started grad school then (me in ann arbor and he in d.c.) and we emailed one another but then lost touch. i need to track him down again....my dear friend mark h will know how. mark's bio mentions that he has "written, produced, and directed several short films." ahem, mark. you forgot starred in a wonderful short film titled "the guru goes to hollywood" by that esteemed filmmaker jammies.
