call when you find work
find when you call work
write when you call work
call when you write work
find when you find work
find work when you call
these variations on 'call when you find work' (which is what my uncle instructs me to do every time i leave his house and head back down to seattle) were repeating in my head when i awoke this morning.

yes. that's what adds to the hilarity of his comment.
isn't my uncle the jokester? it runs in the family.
My dad always says that too. I think he always heard Bob and Ray say it on their radio show.
speaking of. . .
at a staff meeting the other day i suggested we have a reference question contest where students can try to 'stump the chumps'. no one seemed to get the reference. i think they just thought i was calling them all chumps.
it's sad being the only person to laugh at your own jokes. this is often the case with me.
You'd think with a crowd of librarians at least a few would get that NPR reference. Maybe it's an east coast thing, what with the crazy Boston accents and all.
Now that I'm moving back to Massachusetts everything is wicked.
