fat kitty
i was on vacation. well, i was on vacation in the city in which i already live, staying in the house in which i already live, and i brought both my cats. vinny spent much of the time hiding from all the other people, but twyla was as social as in real life. speaking of real life, i only ever feed my cats dry cat food. no wet food. no human food (well, vinny gets the occasional lick of the yogurt spoon--but none for twyla). in my dream people were feeding twyla everything they could off their plates! she is a skinny, active, shiny-black cat but by the end of my 1 week dream vacation she was fat and her fur color was grey and dull. i was sad and angry. i could hardly pick her up. would i ever get my skinny black kitty back?!

Aw, that's depressing. How could they do that to your kitty? I would've woken up and been so mad! Good thing it was only a dream. Until next time...
in the past two nights, i have dreamt of engaging in extreme sports: white water kayaking and mogul snowboarding (okay, maybe the latter isn't that "extreme" to most, but it sure is to me). when kayaking, i accidentally get washed over a cliff at a turn in the river but barely land on a little island in a puddle overlooking craggy rushing rapids. i must be lifted out to safety on ropes. when skiing, i end up at the top of a 90 degree mogul run and watch my friend ease down it with grace. i am paralyzed by fear and go nowhere.
hmmm...has there been a dramatic change in my life? am i nervous about it? hmmm....i wonder.
oh deepfry, you are reading too much into your dreams. i'm sure your life is just plodding along. same-old same-old. no dramatic changes. no nerves. you're just compensating by having extreme-sport dreams. yes, that must be it. i think so. definitely. i feel certain about this. pretty sure at least. yup.
