no thanks. i prefer slippers.
my mother was complaining about how sometimes she had to wear uncomfortable dress shoes with heels around the house. she hated to wear them, and preferred slippers but she sometimes felt obligated. apparently my auntie barbara r would come over wearing fancy shoes. my mother would say something along the lines of 'oh--you don't need to wear such fancy shoes!' and my auntie b would reply 'well, you're wearing yours, aren't you?'. thus, the obligation. i felt frustrated at this seemingly pointless obligation and i encouraged my mother to resist. she didn't have to wear her heels around the house. she should feel free to tell her sister-in-law just that. you know, maybe saying 'no thanks. i prefer slippers.'

I think I prefer slippers, too, just in case you were wondering...
However, they would have to be second to my tap shoes. I find them to be quite comfortable.
i used to know a sweet, unassuming girl named jessie. then she went to college and got this big ego and now she goes by j-prez!!! well, i guess that's okay, as long as i can be uwtc's poster child. :)
i like my taps, too, prez. more comfy than fancy shoes and more functional than slippers.
You can TOTALLY be UWTC's poster girl! You will be (sorry, I must use it here -->) CLAMTABULOSO! Pam's doing the advertising as part of the events planning, so I'll make sure she knows you're first in line.
(You're in my inner circle, by the way, which currently consists of two people...including me. You should feel privileged. But, we are, after all, the ones who sit on the "cool side of the table".)
PEACE OUT, ARMADILLO #1!
Can I have an armadillo number, please?
you can be armadillo #312
you don't have to be events planner if you don't want to be. you can be armadillo #17.5
Things are rather quiet around here. i don't like it one bit.
