I-5

apparently i had been hanging out with ethan and then i left. i was driving away, west on 45th street. it took forever to get anywhere--there was tons of traffic. and then, when i got to where I-5 crossed 45th (in my dream it went over rather than under 45th) i saw tons and tons of people walking on I-5 and getting off at 45th. i called ethan to tell him what was going on. it was unreal. thousands of people had abandoned their cars on the freeway and were walking. i didn't know what had happened, but it reminded me of the brooklyn bridge on september 11. with all this activity and potential danger all i could wonder about were their bladders. how long had they been stuck before they decided to abandon their cars, and did some of them have to pee? did they just give in and squat next to their cars, or were they trying to get to a bathroom. i thought most of them were commuting to work and had most likely consumed large mugs of coffee. it only seemed logical.
