I'M ALIVE!

for those of you who might have been asking yourselves. . . 'hmmm....i wonder if jammie's smoke/CO alarm was just on the fritz or if her house actually was filled with carbon monoxide last night,' rest assured. i'm alive and well! i feel like a new woman with a new lease on life. and i've been thinking. . . really today isn't just the day that followed yesterday. no sir. TODAY is the FIRST DAY of the REST OF MY LIFE!

fyi: i didn't use my delicate body as the sole CO detector last night. i took the detector off the wall and carried with me all evening. to doctors j&m's house, to the fabulous musical-based-in-an-accounting-office Red Ink, to dilettante and back home again. periodically i re-inserted the third battery to hear the shrill alarm. either the detector is broken or the entire city of seattle is filled with CO and i'm the only one who knows.
