sad and lonely
i was at a library conference where i had only one friend, and she soon left. i knew no one else at the conference and wondered about how to make other librarian friends. should i just talk to strangers? should i attend meetings of interest in the hopes of meeting likeminded folks? i was sad. and lonely.
what an awful dream! i love conferences because i get to see all my librarian friends. i have lots! really! and they are all cute!
